One of the backbones of the new scene of Barcelona Rumba. Formed in 2002 in Barcelona and currently presenting their debut album “Pantanito” (K-Industria, 2008). They are also the power behind Neocalorrismo (New Gypsydom) in Barcelona. They show big respect for the classics without forgetting their Latin and Rock ‘n’ Roll influences. High amounts of irony and every day life in their lyrics. |

Established in 2001 to release Carles Mestre’s Rumba influences (Chunguitos, Chichos, Calis...) together with the concerts of his previous musical project, Azucarillo Kings. Since the creation of the band til the edition of their first album “Rumba y Delincuencia” (Discmedi 2007) they’ve achieved a smooth live show full of energy. |

Street Rumba band formed in Barcelona in 2004. With Catalan ventilador as a base, they blend it along their songs with pop-rock, blues and funky, resulting in a dinamic and energic music and stage presence. After more than 150 concerts presenting their first album “Al carrer” (2007, self produced), they are one of the most active bands of Catalunya. In all, La Pegatina is a true synomym of Fiesta and happiness, fun and movement. |

From Chiclana de la Frontera arrives a revolutionary product. Its formula is simple: versatile musicians motivated by lead singer and song writer Sharly García. They play a sort of Flamenco-Latin with fantastic lyrics surprising for their delicate nature, spirit and irony. They’ve just released an EP with 4 songs “Contradecido” (self produced) and are already preparing their debut album. |

Maui’s stories sound like Kiko Veneno and Mártires del Compas. Like Omara Portuondo and Billy Holliday. With Seville and Granada reminiscences... After their successful debut CD “Flamenco Sumergido” they are promoting their second LP “Un ratito más” containing the new songs of this brilliant song-writer and including fantastic collaborations from Jorge Pardo and Arcos (El Puchero del Hortelano). |

BULOS Y TANGUERÍAS

Conceived as an experimental and research project around Flamenco and its live performance, they propose an spectacle based in the old Varieté concept, articulating a multiple narration where different interpreters, Flamenco singers, players and dancers execute diverse Flamenco styles, using also expression codes close to phonetic poetry, performance and sound experimentation. |

LARUMBÉ

This band is a poetically transgressive but also lively project, musically based in the blend of Rumba, Rock and other styles and traditional musics. Juaco, singer and song-writer, founded LARUMBÉ together with David "el Rubio", current singer of Calima, in 2003 in Barcelona.
In January 2008 they launched their first CD “A lo fratelo”, produced by Tino Di Geraldo and Guillermo Quero. |
